Still here — waste left uncollected, proven by timestamps

This is where the timestamps do their real work. Because every photograph carries its own capture date and time — and a unique SHA-256 fingerprint — the same accumulation can be shown in the same place across days and weeks. Not a snapshot of a bad day, but dated proof of waste left in place.

Measured against the service that is claimed. The Council states that a cleansing crew is allocated to The Mounts “for at least half a day, five days a week,” with an operative covering the area Monday to Friday (see Cleansing records). If that were being carried out as described, waste sitting in the same spot for weeks could not be repeatedly missed. Each photograph below is dated so viewers can judge that for themselves.

Update — cleared on a Saturday, after 13+ weeks. The fly-tipped waste documented at these Great Russell Street locations — first photographed here on 31 March 2026 — was cleared on Saturday 11 July 2026, more than 13 weeks later. The photographs below (dated 12 July 2026) record the same spots after clearance. Large amounts of detritus and various litter remain in the area, so these locations are still not at Grade A — but it is a marked improvement.

About the clearance shown in these photographs. All three Great Russell Street locations pictured below were cleared on the same day — Saturday 11 July 2026, after being documented here for more than 13 weeks. A local business owner who is helping to champion the street contacted us to say that, on that same Saturday, they had seen what looked like council officials in the area. We record this only as a first-hand, dated observation directly connected to the clearance of these specific spots. We make no allegation and draw no conclusion from the timing — who carried out the clearance, and why it happened when it did, are matters only West Northamptonshire Council can confirm, and it is welcome to respond via the right of reply.

What this is — and is not. These are dated observations presented as fact. They do not allege that any individual has acted dishonestly; they let residents judge, from timestamped evidence, whether the described cleansing service is reaching these locations.
